Long story short, the owner of the trailer that they where leasing to own has filed for bankruptcy, the trailer has to be sold. No ifs, ands, or buts! James and Val have to turn it on on Sunday 9/5. This is not due to any fault on their part, they are victims of circumstance.

They have done some research and with the help of the Vegas Foodtruck Community I know you won’t let us loose this Bombilicious Truck! I have 9,000 followers on twitter not to mention the followers of the other foodtrucks. We need $10,000 for them to put down on a truck and they can keep on Smokin’ in the Desert! $1 a follower on Twitter that’s all I’m asking. I could go into all the awards and good deeds that they have done! We wouldn’t of had #4sqdayvegas without their hookup with Plant World and the food drive for @Threesquarelv. But like I said I don’t have the time and neither do they!

This year The Las Vegas Tweetup wanted to focus on helping small business via Tweetups. Being that I love to eat, and the Foodtrucks being the new phenomena to hit the streets here in Vegas it just made perfect sense to team up with them for Foursquare Day! While I was in @RetroBakery @BevBaldwin all the way from Michigan came in with her family on their way to California. So I pulled out the Kodak zi8 and the following 3 or 4 vids are our rant and rave!

My daughter also loves the glazed donut one! My fav is the Strawberry Banana. Don’t miss the animoto I did also to Tempt and Tease Your Taste Buds with the ButterCream! I brought my two big girls Madeline and Sunnie in with me and of course totally embarassed them when I checked in on Foursquare and then took their picture to add to my GoWalla Stream.

One thing in the video below,  I didn’t mention when I was talking about the Tweet no longer being stationary in Twitter, but most of us know this already is that Tweets are indexed in Search Engines making this like the ultimate double dip. Yeah get that spoon and dive on in. So I really think this is going to be a great additional feature, showing up on websites and blogs all over the internet. Again, just incase I forget Thank You @RobinSloan for sharing your cool hack with us!

I have seen WordPress plugins that do this also, but as my friend @KimDoyal says “Plugins can slow down your Wordpess site, and if you don’t really need to use a plugin when code will do then why use it!” Not an exact quote but close enough. (By the way Kim is my WordPress Mentor)

My Love affair with Twitter started when I was in the process of completing my Internet Marketing/Social Media Marketing Virtual Assistant courses with Vaclassroom last October 2008.  So my why is pretty simple it is very important part of my business.

It became even more important when Kim Doyal aka The WordPress Chick suggested to me to buy the domain name “The Las Vegas Tweetup!”  I Fell even more in love, you could say “Madly in Love” with Twitter then.  The relationships that have been created because of the Las Vegas Tweetup are Priceless.

I’m a Virtual Assistant specializing in Social Media Marketing, Internet Marketing, and WordPress.  I enjoy helping Businesses, and Business owners with their “Statregic Social Media Marketing Plans,” along with training them on how to maintain it or maintaining it for them.  A few of my favorite tasks are to create a Fan Page in Facebook, turning them in to Twitaholics by showing them how to maneuver on Twitter.

But that is just the beggining, multiple accounts, team workflow, track statistics, multi-column view, tabbed layout, create groups, embed columns, feed your RSS, Ping.fm intergration, schedule Tweets, quick search, view user info, and report spam.

For us bloggers “Feeding our RSS” is a great feature I have it set to tweetup up to 4 times a day when I make a new blog post.

This is just a quick over view of  Hootsuite, it has so many endearing qualities.  The FAQ and How to’s are abundant as you can tell from the demo videos I have shared.

So go set up your Hootsuite Hoot!  You’ll think it’s “Suite” to!

If you are on Twitter you already have an account on Twitpic.  All you have to do is go to Twitpic and sign in like you are signing into you Twitter account.

Once you are logged in you have a few options:  Home, Public Timeline, Upload Photo, Settings, and Logout.

Home of course shows your photos and comments on your photos.

Public Timeline is public photos and comments

Upload photos is easy,  you just upload the picture of your choice, if you choose to you can comment on it and click on upload.

You can upload photos from your phone by sending an email to twitpic and using the subject line for your comment on your photo.   You can set it up in Settings.

Twitpic is very user-friendly and fun to use for photo sharing.  Go get your account today and start sharing your pix on Twitpic.  I plan on using it at the next tweetup on September 9, 2009.
