MAGDRL aka Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue league is an All-Volunteer. They rescue, rehabilitate and find homes for lost, abandoned or neglected Great Danes.
Here is a bit of a post I found from a former Great Dane Owner:
“If you ever owned a Great Dane you know they are a large breed but are elegant and somewhat clumsy and cute and sweet and loyal to the end. Protectors of all who dwell with them. Their tails will knock everything it comes in contact with out of the way when excited. They run like the wind when free to do so. Full of life! One minute vivacious and full of energy and then a lap dog the next minute. Obedient, loving and compassionate! And yes they could rule the house. But mine took pride where he lived and we had a mutual respect for each other and we loved him as a member of our family. Wonderful with the kids and a great addition to our family. MAGDRL has a goal each month of fundraising at least as much as they spent the previous month.
For the month of May, their expenses were $26,396.89.
