We’ve been working with Eleanor Prior (AKA @TheLVTweetUP) for some time about her AMAZING idea for a 4sqday event. As you can tell she is passionate about food, passionate about Las Vegas, and passionate about social media, so we thought it would be best if she told the story in her own words. Makes us wish we were going to be in Las Vegas on April 16th!!

This year The Las Vegas Tweetup wanted to focus on helping small business via Tweetups. Being that I love to eat, and the Foodtrucks being the new phenomena to hit the streets here in Vegas it just made perfect sense to team up with them for Foursquare Day! We are celebrating #4sqday with the Foodtrucks here in Las Vegas at Plant World Nursery, our generous host!  Finish Reading on 4SQDAY’s  Blog

Here is a bit of a post I found from a former Great Dane Owner:
“If you ever owned a Great Dane you know they are a large breed but are elegant and somewhat clumsy and cute and sweet and loyal to the end. Protectors of all who dwell with them. Their tails will knock everything it comes in contact with out of the way when excited. They run like the wind when free to do so. Full of life! One minute vivacious and full of energy and then a lap dog the next minute. Obedient, loving and compassionate! And yes they could rule the house. But mine took pride where he lived and we had a mutual respect for each other and we loved him as a member of our family. Wonderful with the kids and a great addition to our family. One thing in the video below,  I didn’t mention when I was talking about the Tweet no longer being stationary in Twitter, but most of us know this already is that Tweets are indexed in Search Engines making this like the ultimate double dip. Yeah get that spoon and dive on in. So I really think this is going to be a great additional feature, showing up on websites and blogs all over the internet. Again, just incase I forget Thank You @RobinSloan for sharing your cool hack with us!

I have seen WordPress plugins that do this also, but as my friend @KimDoyal says “Plugins can slow down your Wordpess site, and if you don’t really need to use a plugin when code will do then why use it!” Not an exact quote but close enough. (By the way Kim is my WordPress Mentor)
